Introduction To Bangladesh
Bangladesh
is a independent country which situated in south Asia. The people of the
country are revolutionary. They fought for all the injustice. Its an
agricultural country. The economy rate of Bangladesh has gradually grow up. The
main economic sector of Bangladesh is Garments. The language of the Bangladeshi
people is Bangla . Bangla is mother
tongue of the people of Bangladesh. There rules a democratic
Government.
The most significant event for Bangledesh in
the last century has been its birth as an independent nation. Prior to that, it
experienced British colonial rule until 1947 to 1971.the life of our people has
often been shaped by tragedy. Flood has
devastated our land and tidal waves from the sea have swept away thousand of lives. Every year
natural disaster attact our country and harm our economy. Poverty has been an ever-present specter.
As a result, nearly seventy percent people of the population suffer from
various degrees of malnutrition. Rapid population growth has added to this
problem. Although, the growth rate has slowed down to some extent, the
population has almost doubled since independent. Many people lives there below
poverty line. They don’t get basic human rights. On the other hand, turbulent politics and
instability, and the rise of terrorism and crime are adversely affecting
society.
Despite
these negative aspects, the last twenty five years will remain memorable for
certain event. The 21st of February 1952 immediately comes to mind.
Only recently, our language day has been declared the international mother
language day by UNESCO. 16 December, 1971 is the another day our nation Nation
will cherish forever- the day when we became citizens of a free state following
our victory over the occupation forces of Pakistan.

letter. The longest sea-beach among the world Cox’s Bazar is situated in south
part of Bangladesh. The mangrove forest ‘Sundarbon’ is also in Bangladesh.
Every years many visitor visit Bangladesh
to see its beauty. There are many rivers flow in to Bangladesh. The rivers make
Bangladesh more beautiful. There are 230 rivers in Bangladesh. In addition.
I the field of literature, art and
culture we have produced great poets, novelists, and artists. For instance,
Bangladesh is proud of the great poet Kazi Nazrul Islam who raised his fiery
voice against injustice and oppression.
